Parable of an Apple

By Eniola-David Fowope

Thinking on how to sell most on the street,
While walking on the street.
I saw apples spread on the street,
I was feeling for the street,
When an apple differentiated itself.
Then, I said to myself,
“Amidst so many apples,
An apple got my attention
And decreased all my tension.”
I gave the beautiful apple my attention,
For the apple carved a niche for itself.
I bought the beautiful apple for myself,
For it was the best apple on the street.
Then, I learnt to brand my product for the street.
So as to be the best on the street.

THINK HIT
Think deep for the hit.
Kick the hit heat.
Carve a niche for the hit,
For the Hit to be the thing.

While the Hit becomes the thing,
make the thing for the hearts
That the hearts may enjoy the thing,
So as to make the Hearts also think deep.

THE HEADLESS SERVANT
Walking and toiling in the vineyard
Amidst so many servants in the vineyard.
Is a servant,
Who wants to be the head of a vineyard.
But this very servant is a mediocre.
That is reserving his energy
For the day he will be the head.
Not knowing the head,
He was rebellious to the head.
Other clever servants built their head.
Fortunately, they later became a head,
The mediocre servant left without head.
And was unable to develop his own vineyard.
the unwise servant went about without head.
He was unable to be a head.
Virtuous ladies and Men of integrity do not want his hand,
Because, he is a headless servant.
